Who We Are

Someone willing to listen

A developing for-profit Arizona company focused on veterans and their families.

Who we are

Veterans and their families may face questions involving housing, employment, education, transportation, family responsibilities, technology, community support or the next stage of life. Our goal is to help each person slow the process down, identify practical concerns and connect with credible resources.

Core Mission

One Ounce Ranch is being developed to help veterans and their families find a calmer, more organized path forward. We listen, help identify practical transition needs and connect people with credible resources and independently qualified professionals. Our long-term vision is to create a peaceful Arizona ranch where veterans can rest, learn useful skills, rebuild confidence and develop a direction for the future.

How We Intend to Help

Six steps, at your pace

  4. 04

    Provide Options

Present credible resource options without making decisions for the veteran.

  5. 05

    Refer

Refer specialized matters to independently qualified professionals.

  6. 06

    Follow Up

When appropriate, follow up to determine whether the veteran reached the selected resource or needs another general referral.

VA and professional service boundaries

One Ounce Ranch is not a VA-accredited claims organization and does not prepare, present, prosecute or appeal VA benefits claims. We do not review medical records, advise which benefit to pursue, evaluate claims, prepare forms or evidence, communicate with the VA on a veteran's behalf, promise ratings or awards, or provide legal, medical or mental-health services.

When a veteran needs help with a claim or appeal, we intend to provide a researched list of approximately three or four currently accredited representatives or qualified attorneys whenever practical. The veteran independently decides whom to contact, whether to schedule a consultation, whether to retain a professional and whether to pursue a claim or appeal.
